Red Cube Seminar

Red Cube Seminar
IDSC has established a Colloquium Series (The Red Cube Seminar) which intends to become a focal point of a local community of data workers. The series, which focuses on 'all things data' within or around the context of the Institute's activities, aims at bringing together renowned data professionals, data analysts, scientific data users and young researchers to discuss and share findings and to establish contacts for future cooperation. All presentations are given in English.

The Red Cube Seminar takes place on Wednesday's in order to integrate properly with the other lecture series of the institute which take place on Tuesday and Thursday. Its lectures are divided into public and internal working seminars, which alternate on a weekly basis. While the former invites international speakers the latter is meant for the IDSC team to present work in progress. The get together starts at 13:00 hrs  so people can arrive whenever they please
between 13:00 and 13:30. The talk starts at 13:30 and ends at 14:30.
The questions session is 14:30-15:00.

If you would like to present your work at the IDSC Colloquium Series at IZA, please discuss your proposal with the head of IDSC. Contact: Dr. Nikos Askitas idsc [at ]iza.org. If you would like to receive announcements regarding future presentations, please email us at idsc [at ]iza.org.

The list of talks of the Red Cube seminar can also be found at the Institutes main page as well.
